 Like this psychologists or psychiatrists remove the mental blockage from the patients mind so that he / she recover  from  their mental blockage . In this occasion I remember the words of a sufie teacher Meher baba that is “A mind that is fast  is sick , A mind that is slow is sound , A mind that is still is divine “.In this blog post I want to tell about how our mind works  and how can you best use of it.

 

Have you ever think why is one man sad and another man happy? Why is one man joyous and prosperous and another man poor and miserable? Why is one man fearful and anxious and another full of faith and confidence? .

 

Why does one man have a beautiful, luxurious home while another man lives out a meager existence in a slum? Why is one man a great success and another an abject failure? Like this there are countless  questions on duality that goes on. After reading this blog post till the end  I think you will get most of the answers to above questions.

 

There is no greater victory in the life of a human being than victory

over the mind. He who has controlled the gusts of passion that arise within him and the violent actions that proceed there from is the

real hero.

 

All the disturbances in the physical plane are due to chaos and confusion existing in the mind. Therefore to conquer the mind through the awareness of the great Truth that pervades all existence is the key to real success and the consequent harmony and peace in the individual and in the world. The true soldier is he who fights not the external but the internal foes.

 

You have heard of the word ‘Buddha.’ One who has risen above his intellect, or one who has risen above the discriminatory and logical dimension of his life, is a Buddha. Human beings have invented millions of ways to suffer. For all this the manufacturing unit is just in your mind. When you have risen above your mind, this is the end of suffering.

 

 When there is no fear of suffering, there is absolute freedom. Only when this happens, a man is free to experience life beyond his limitations. So being a Buddha means that you have become a witness to your own intellect. The essence of yoga and meditation is just this: once you have a clear space between you and your mind, you experience a completely different dimension of existence.

 

When somebody is rude to me  which is seldom  don’t think I am not aware of it. I am very much aware, but I can change the channel in my mind from anger to compassion as easily as changing channels on the TV.

 

It’s not good to let people walk all over us, and we may need to resist when they try. But we can resist without losing compassion and respect if we know how to keep our mind steady. See heaven and hell are the two states of mind in which we live on. That is why we can say  we can create  either heaven out of our mind or  hell out of mind .

 

All your experiences and everything that enters into your life depend upon the nature of the mental building blocks, which you use in the construction of your mental home.

 

 If your blueprint is full of mental patterns of fear, worry, anxiety, or lack, and if you are despondent, doubtful, and cynical, then the texture of the mental material you are weaving into your mind will come forth as more toil, care, tension,  anxiety, and limitation of all kinds. You are building your mental home all the time, and your thought and mental imagery represent your blueprint.

 

Hour by hour, moment by moment, you can build radiant health, success, and happiness by the thoughts you think, the ideas which you harbor, the beliefs that you accept, and the scenes that you rehearse in the hidden studio of your mind.

 

Get a new blueprint; build silently by realizing peace, harmony, joy, and good will in the present moment. By dwelling upon these things and claiming them, your subconscious mind will accept your blueprint and bring all these things to pass. By their fruits you shall know them.

 

Thought

Like many  types of energies present in our universe ,thought  is  a form of energy . All that we are is the result of what we have thought: we are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them.

 

In other way it is a kind of action take place in your brain based on whatever your conscious mind is subject to. It may be the experience from your past , doing things for full filling your goals, from the experience from your relationships whether it may be personal or non personal or about your future plans and works, like this there are so many list of things from which thoughts generate . In general thoughts  will vary from person to person even it may vary on twins also.  

 

This process of thinking forms impressions in your mind, these impressions in turn become manifested as facts and experiences in your life.

The Buddha’s answer, set out more than twenty-five hundred years ago, has a very modern appeal. Our destiny, he said, lies in our own hands: “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. We are formed and molded by our thoughts.” It follows that what we shall be tomorrow is shaped by what we think today. To this penetrating observation he added a simple twist. “Don’t try to control the future,” he would say. “Work on the one thing you can learn to control: your own responses.”

 

Here I remember a self affirmation in which you can also use it in your daily life .

 

Grant me the serenity to

accept the things i cannot change ,

courage to change the things i can ,

and wisdom to know the difference.

     

 

If we merely react to life, this implies, we have no more freedom of choice than that log the ocean was playing with. We go where life pushes and pulls us. But if we can choose our responses, we have mastered life. Like a skilled surfer, we don’t need to ask for perfect waves. Where is the challenge in that? We show our skill by how well we can handle whatever the sea sends. “All that we are is the result of what we have thought.” It sounds so simple, but this truth has far-reaching implications. So be a proactive as Stephen covey said in his book seven habits of highly effective people.

 

Belief

Decide what belief is. Know that belief is a an intense thought in your mind, and what you think you create. Remember sometimes we use the word belief and faith interchangeably . Overall belief or faith is the thought that made an impact on our subconscious mind . It is foolish to believe in sickness and something to hurt or to harm you. Believe in perfect health, prosperity, peace, wealth, and divine guidance.

 

You explain to the sick person that the basis of all healing is a change of belief. You also point out that the subconscious mind created the body and all its organs; therefore, it knows how to heal it, can heal it,

 

It is not the thing believed in that brings an answer to man’s prayer; the answer to prayer results when the individual’s sub conscious mind responds to the mental picture or thought in his mind.

     

This law of belief is operating in all religions of the world and is the reason why they are psychologically true. The Buddhist, the Christian, the Muslims, and the Hebrew all may get answers to their prayers, not because of the particular creed, religion, affiliation, ritual, ceremony, formula, liturgy, incantation, sacrifices, or offerings, but solely because of belief or mental acceptance and receptivity about that for which they pray.

 

The law of life is the law of belief, and belief could be summed up briefly as a thought in your mind. As a man thinks, feels, and believes, so is the condition of his mind, body, and circumstances.

 

Always remember, if you really want the power to heal, you can have it through faith,which means knowledge of the working of your conscious and subconscious mind. Faith comes with understanding. Blind faith means that a person may get results in healing without any scientific

understanding of the powers and forces involved.

 

conscious mind

As per the duality nature of our universe our mind also are of two types . One is conscious mind and the other one subconscious mind . In other words we can say objective and subjective mind or an outer mind and inner mind  . Whatever you are doing now is on your consciously  called conscious mind . Our conscious mind some times plays as a gate keeper to our subconscious mind.

 

It always subject to change for example our desires are rise in our conscious mind if one his desire then another will follow like this our conscious mind is always changing . For example it is considered in a day time 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts arise in our conscious mind .

 

I think now you got it what i am saying . Whatever your conscious mind assumes and believes to be true,your subconscious mind will accept and bring to pass. It is the conscious mind which reasons, argue ,and make decisions in your life . The sub conscious mind does accept merely whatever conscious mind impress on it .

 

Subconscious mind stand as a victim for what the conscious mind is doing. The sub conscious mind works with out our consent for example our breathing and internal working of each organ inside our body. That is why some  medical cases with less hope win over the life on prayer is due to our subconscious mind.

 

So be in present , think and do constructively and always occupy your mind with positive thoughts . Which in turn impress these positive thoughts in our subconscious mind , which in turn gives and impressions on our brain cells so that we will attract to do things on whatever our subconscious mind repeatedly says .

 

Now the time came to introduce you to the two brothers of conscious mind it’s none other than Fixed Mind and Growing Mind. Let me tell you about this two brother.

Fixed Mind 

It is the conscious mind which wil not l accept or update any new information in their conscious mind consciously. You can see around yourself some people does not change their behaviour and atittude  after several attempts of their failures or advices . They have a thoughts in their own mind in which they will not allow any one change it , so be aware of this types of peoples. For example most often uneducated old peoples comes under this catagory because they don’t know the new circumstances and technologies . I am not saying all old uneducated peoples comes under this catagory but to some extent it is true.

Growing Mind

when relate to fixed mind the growing mind act as a receiver of new informations and experiences . In other words people with growing mind  update their knowledge  and experience relevant from situations to situations.Growing mind peoples are most often smart peoples so that they are more confidant than fixed mind peoples. subconscious mind

Subconscious mind or subjective mind is the mind who plays the role of victim of whatever the conscious mind is doing from time to time   . To better understand about our subconscious mind  consider our subconscious mind as a agriculture field where the  farmer is our conscious mind . So what ever the seed the farmer sowed on the field so as he / she can the reap it after many days of it’s nourishment activities , such as watering ,putting pesticides ,minerals etc .

 

 The kinetic action of the subconscious mind continues throughout your sleep time period. Hence, give the subconscious mind something good to work on as you drop off into slumber.

 

Our subconscious mind perceives  intuitions it is the seat of emotions and  memory. your subconscious mind get in motion when your objective mind fall down on sleepy or drowsy mode. Remember your subjective mind has the capability of clairvoyance and clairaudience.

     

 

 

one of the chief function of our conscious mind is to have  protect the subconscious mind from false impressions. So shall we move on next .

 

Customizing Subconscious Mind

 

self affirmation is a type of practice in which we trying to give impressions on our subconscious mind . As I said above it make signal in brain so that it will find ways to carry them out .Self affirmation 4 to 5 times daily makes sense through out your life . Our mind is like monkey it is always restless that is jumping from trees to tress .

 

Just like the trunk of the elephant is a restless thing, always moving, and in India especially in Kerala state as the temple elephant is taken through the narrow streets of the bazaars, it is usually tempted by the coconuts, bananas, and other produce displayed in the stalls on either side. As it walks, if the shopkeeper doesn’t watch, it picks up a coconut and puts it in its mouth. There is a loud crack, and that is the last of the coconut.

 

Then from the next stall it takes a whole bunch of bananas. It doesn’t peel them, but just puts the whole bunch inside, and it’s gone. But the wise mahout, the man in charge of the elephants, knows their habits, so

as the procession begins he gives the elephant a short bamboo stick to hold in its trunk. The elephant holds the bamboo firmly and walks

through the streets without disturbing  anyone’s property.

 

This is what we do when we repeat the affiramations: we slowly give affirmations from our conscious mind  to sub conscious  mind, and instead of wanting to smoke or overeat, it has something to hold on to. Gradually, this makes the mind firm, secure, steadfast, and proof against tension.

 

You can do this when you feel more anger that is when you fallen in the web of anger just affirm your favorite passages 20 to 30 times   2, 3 times so that  your mind will change the direction eventually or the passage you are telling consciously will try to make space on your mind  so that your anger comes down . Remember it is not a instantaneous process but it takes lots of patience and time to make them as one of your habits.

 

How to use your subconscious mind

Charles Baudoin was a professor at the Rousseau Institute in France. He was a brilliant psychotherapist and a research director of the New Nancy School of Healing, who in 1910 taught that the best way to impress the subconscious mind was to enter into a drowsy, sleepy state, or a state akin to sleep in which all effort was reduced to a minimum.

 

Then in a quiet, passive, receptive way, by reflection, he would convey the

idea to the subconscious. The following is his formula: “A very simple way of securing this  is to condense the idea which is to be the object of suggestion, to sum it up in a brief phrase which can be readily graven on the memory, and to repeat it over and over again as a lullaby.”

 

The conscious mind is submerged to a great extent when in a sleepy state. The reason for this is that the highest degree of outcropping of the subconscious occurs prior to sleep and just after we awaken. In this state the negative thoughts, which tend to neutralize your desire and so

prevent acceptance by your subconscious mind, are no longer present.

 

 

Suppose you want to get rid of a destructive habit. Assume a comfortable posture, relax your body, and be still. Get into a sleepy state, and in that sleepy state, say quietly, over and over again as a lullaby, “I am completely free from this habit; harmony and peace of mind reign supreme.” Repeat the above slowly, quietly, and lovingly for five or ten minute’s night and morning.

 

 Each time you repeat the words the emotional value becomes greater. When the urge comes to repeat the negative habit, repeat the above formula out loud by yourself. By this means you induce the subconscious to accept the idea, and a healing follows. How is  this method  , sounds great , ok  move on  .

 

Infinite  Healing  presence

The infinite healing comes from the depth of our belief or faith  . In other words if we strongly believe on some thing  and do all the necessary actions even after so many attempts  one you will  achieve it . That is why swami vivekenads said “there is no greater force in this  world than human will coupled with faith “ .

 

Know that in your deeper mind are Infinite Intelligence and Infinite Power. Just calmly think over what you want; see it coming into fuller fruition from this moment forward. Be like the little girl who had a very bad cough and a sore throat. She declared firmly and repeatedly, “It is passing away now. It is passing away now.” It passed away in about an hour. Use this technique with complete simplicity and naïveté.

 

So whatever happens it’s all happens in our mind , if you kept your mind calm then overall your body will function in accordance with harmony . It is better let keep your mind focused on one thing for 5 to 10 minutes in day so that your mind will get rest on the thing your are focusing which we called meditation .

 

Meditation is a type of yoga in which you can exercise your mind so that it will become still on one point but it takes time . In the beginning you can start with 3 minutes then slowly increase the it’s time period . Eventually you can increase the meditation time up to 30 to 60 minutes in a day . Either you can do this early in the morning of before bed it’s up to you . To carry out this kind of act you have to sleep early in the night and wake up early in morning . It is better to sleep in between 9 to 10 PM and wake up in between 4 to 5 AM .

 

A calm mind do many wonders in this world than you expect in your life . when your mind is calm you can able to see things clearly that is you can get know about the root cause of your problems or any thing you encounter in life , but some times our negative emotions get dominate it so that the calmness of mind get diminished .

 

In saint’s view meditation is considered as a mountain top view . So to activate your infinite healing do meditate at least 20 minutes a day or practice  mindfulness .I will tell you more about mindfulness in my blog posts ahead . Now you simply understand mindfulness is a simply a  consciousness on all things surrounds you that currently your mind is focused.

 

Power of prayer

Most of you don’t know the power of your prayer , now a days the new generations sees every thing in the light of science  so they ignore prayer most of the time . Prayer is a type of your belief in which your mind get calm and  get satisfaction to a certain extent .

 

 Apply the power of prayer therapy in your life. Choose a certain plan, idea, or mental picture. Mentally and emotionally unite with that idea, and as you remain faithful to your mental attitude, your prayer will be answered. Learn to pray for your loved ones who may be ill. Quiet your mind, and your thoughts of health, vitality, and perfection operating through the one universal subjective mind will be felt and resurrected in the mind of your loved one.

 

Prayer is the formulation of an idea concerning something we wish to accomplish. Prayer is the soul’s sincere desire. Your desire is your prayer. It comes out of your deepest needs and it reveals the things you want in life. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. That is really prayer, life’s hunger and thirst for peace, harmony, health, joy, and all the other blessings of life.

 

An engineer has a technique and a process for building a bridge or an engine. Like the engineer, your mind also has a technique for governing, controlling, and directing your life. You must realize that methods and techniques are primary. In building the Golden Gate Bridge, the chief engineer understood mathematical principles, stresses and strains. Secondly, he had a picture of the ideal bridge across the bay.

 

The third step was his application of tried and proven methods by which the principles were implemented until the bridge took form and we drive on it. There also are techniques and methods by which your prayers are answered. If your prayer is answered, there is a way in which it is answered, and this is a scientific way. Nothing happens by chance. This is a world of law and order.

 

In this blog post you will find practical techniques for the unfolding and nurture of your spiritual life. Your prayers must not remain up in the air like a balloon. They must go somewhere and accomplish something in your life. When we come to analyze prayer we discover there are many different approaches and methods.

 

Your prayer, which is your mental act must be accepted as an image in your mind before the power from your subconscious mind will play upon it and make it productive. You must reach a point of acceptance in your mind, an unqualified and undisputed state of agreement.

The sound basis for the art and science of true prayer is your knowledge and complete confidence that the movement of your conscious mind will gain a definite response from your subconscious mind, which is one with boundless wisdom and infinite power. By following this procedure, your prayers will be answered.

 

The Chinese say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” William James, the father of American psychology, stressed the fact that the subconscious mind will bring to pass any picture held in the mind and backed by faith. Act as though I am, and I will be.

 

So  pray  with  your imagination and so that you can visualize the outcome and which in turn gives a impression on brain cells . Eventually your brain will get act on and find ways to achieve it. it is not instantaneous process some times you can accomplish in a month , some times it 2 to 3 months .
